New Harmony Station in Final Days of Construction The moment we've all been waiting for . . . construction of the new Harmony Station of the Ingomar Volunteer Fire Company is nearing completion!
The fire company is scheduled to occupy the building by the end of May. It's important to know, that even as we settle into our new home, the residents of McCandless and our mutual aid districts will still receive the same rapid service for which they rely on us.
We've received so many compliments from the public, and we can't wait to hold a grand opening celebration for the community. Stay tuned for more info as we solidify the date and time!
A huge thank-you goes out to our friends and neighbors for the wonderful support we've received during the construction. As you receive our fundraising letter in the comnig weeks, please keep in mind that we need your continued support to help us meet our financial obligations toward this building, our North Ingomar Station, fire apparatus, turnout gear and other equipment, and training for our firefighters. Please consider making an investment in the future of your community—make a financial contribution to the Ingomar Volunteer Fire Company today!
Check out our stories in the North Journal and in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, and keep your eyes open for more information about our grand opening celebration in the coming weeks!
