Coming Soon: New Harmony Station What happened to the fire station in Ingomar? We've demolished the old fire station and are now in the process of constructing a brand new fire station right at the same location! This new station will provide safe, easy entry for fire apparatus pulling onto Harmony Drive, wider and deeper garage bays to readily accommodate the ever-increasing size of fire apparatus, state-of-the-art classroom and training facilities, and energy efficiency by utilizing modern building materials.
But the price tag of building a modest station that meets the fire company's operational needs is anything but modest, at $2.1 million.
While the construction of this much-needed fire station is more than half-way complete, we still have day-to-day operational expenses in addition to the construction cost for our new fire station. We need your help now more than ever! Please consider making an investment in the future of your community—make a financial contribution to the Ingomar Volunteer Fire Company today!
Check out our story in the North Journal and in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, and stay tuned for more information!
